New To Matcha?

First Question: What is Matcha anyways?

Matcha tea is grown primarily in Japan and is a type of green tea! The entire practice to make matcha make for a more nutritious tea leaf. It is then ground into a very fine powder. Note that the entire leaf is consumed rather than put into a bag and infused with water. This is why our matcha doesn’t come in bag form.

Since Matcha is one of the only teas that are prepared using the entire leaf, the antioxidant levels are very high. Along with having zero calories and a decent amount of dietary fiber, the antioxidant level of matcha tea is one of the reasons it has become such a hit with health conscious consumers, bodybuilders and everyday tea enthusiasts.

SO, HOW DO I PREPARE IT?

Great question!

Mix with hot water, stored until slight foam appears. You may also really enjoy a teaspoon in your favorite smoothies. This can also be mixed with milk for a richer, creamier, smooth taste.

Ok, BUT HOW DOES IT TASTE?

This is the number one question we get asked! “Sounds healthy, does it taste nasty?” lol

Some compare it to the darker herbal teas, but that description still doesn’t really hit the mark. First-time matcha drinkers say the tea is slightly bitter and needs sweetening, HOWEVER- our flavors of blueberry and Raspberry does the sweetening for you. The natural flavors added allows for a boost in the matcha, so it no longer tastes so earthy as other Matcha’s which is one of our best compliments that we normally receive!

WHY DOES MATCHA COST MORE THEN OTHER TEAS?

The main reason why it's so expensive is that producing a quality stonemill matcha powder is an immensely tedious and laborious process that requires special skill and knowledge. This process also tends to yelled small amounts of the powder. MiTea has recently packaged a greater amount per bag to give our customers more per each purchase.

MiTea really hopes that you love our Matcha! This has been a customer favorite from our launching and is still currently a crowd favorite. Try it for your self TODAY! Tell us which is your favorite Matcha! Blueberry or Raspberry! ….
